'He's very good': Wolves defender admits his team will have to be at their best to stop one Chelsea player
Wolves defender Nelson Semedo has warned his teammates about Chelsea forward Joao Felix and his ability on the ball ahead of this weekend’s clash.
Chelsea will be under new caretaker manager Frank Lampard for their trip to Molineux Stadium this Saturday, so there is no guarantee that Felix is going to play.
The Atletico Madrid loanee, however, established himself as a key player under Graham Potter and despite the lack of output, proved that he can cause problems for opposition defenders.
Wolves’ Semedo, who plays alongside Felix in the Portugal national team, is clearly aware of the threat the 23-year-old could pose to his team this weekend.

“He’s a great player and a great guy as well,” Semedo said about Felix ahead of the match (via Wolves’ official website).
“I really like him as a person, so on Saturday it will be a good battle, but I hope it will be an enjoyable game.
“He’s a very good player so we know that we have to be very careful with him.
“He’s good with the ball at his feet and we’ve got to be at our best to stop him.
“Between 3pm and 5pm, we won’t be friends, and I’m sure at the final whistle there will be hugs, but he’s my opponent, so during the 90 minutes, we will not be friends.”
Depending on Lampard’s tactical decision, it could be Semedo’s job to defend against Felix, who already played on the left several times for Chelsea.
That said, Lampard usually prefers natural wingers in these wide positions for his team, so if Felix were to start in the upcoming game, he would likely play centrally.
