'No': Sky journalist claims he's heard 53-year-old definitely won't be Chelsea's next manager now
Antonio Conte definitely won’t become the new Chelsea manager next season, according to reports.
Chelsea, who sacked Graham Potter last week, are still on the search for his permanent successor.
Frank Lampard was confirmed today, via the club’s official website, as the Blues interim manager until the end of the season.
He begins his second stint as Chelsea boss with a trip to Wolverhampton this Saturday in the Premier League, which could be quite a memorable one for travelling supporters at Molineux Stadium.

According to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol, Antonio Conte is not a candidate to become Chelsea’s next manager
Solhekol, who was speaking on the Sky Sports channel this afternoon (1:15PM, 6 April), shared that the 53-year-old manager is not in the running: “What we’re hearing is Antonio Conte, no. That is not going to be happening. We’re being told that Chelsea is not something that is going to be happening as far as we’re concerned.”
The Independent did claim yesterday that Chelsea were considering holding conversations with Conte about the manager’s job.
Fans will have to wait and see if links to the Italian boss do return.
He did enjoy a two-year spell at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea manager, winning the Premier League and FA Cup. Things did come to a sour end eventually, though.

Conte has one of the best CVs in the game due to success with the likes of Chelsea, Inter Milan and Juventus.
However, it doesn’t feel like he’s the right fit under this Blues ownership.
The links to Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique make much more sense to us.
