Report: 52-year-old manager has convinced Chelsea after speaking to them, he's travelling to London now
Reports have claimed that Luis Enrique is headed to London now for talks with Chelsea about becoming their new manager.
According to The Independent, the 52-year-old has convinced the club to speak with him after outlining his vision for where he can take the club.
It has not taken long for the main candidates to emerge after Graham Potter was relieved of his duties at the weekend following a dire few months in charge.

Todd Boehly had become one of the biggest defenders of the former Brighton man, however even he couldn’t back him after seeing the Blues drop into the bottom half of the table.
Discussions instead have now turned to who is best to become the next maanger at Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea’s third permanent one of the season.
The timing of Julian Nagelsmann’s sacking at Bayern Munich made him an obvious favourite for the role. However, it is widely expected he prefers to wait until the end of the season before taking a job.
This leaves the door open for other candidates, both currently employed or not.
One of these is Enrique, who was last seen leading the Spanish national team at the World Cup in Qatar to a disappointing Round of 16 exit.

Despite that, it has been claimed that he has impressed the Blues enough to travel to London to engage in talks over potentially becoming manager.
His edge in experience could see him hold an advantage over the youthful Nagelsmann, who may hold too many similarities to the recently fired Potter to convince some fans he is the right man for the job.
Whoever takes the role will be set for a massive job on their hands, showcased by the club’s uninspiring 0-0 draw against a heavily-rotated Liverpool side at Stamford Bridge last night.
