Report: Chelsea have just launched £56m swap bid, ready to send out Potter signing on loan
Reports have claimed that Chelsea have made a bid to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Manuel Ugarte this summer.
According to Record Portugal, the Blues have put together a bid of £56m, which also includes January signing David Datro Fofana on loan.
It seems as if Ugarte has emerged at the top of the list in terms of midfielders to potentially move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

It has been reported for a while that the club are keen to sign the perfect partner for Enzo Fernandez, who joined for a record fee back in January.
Everyone at the club has been extremely impressed with the World Cup winner in what has been a particularly dire spell, however they have acknowledged the need to sign someone to compliment his skills.
Chelsea launch Ugarte bid
It seems they have decided the defensive capabilities of the Uruguayan are what they are looking to bring in, with it now being claimed that a bid has been made by the Blues for his signing.
Reports have suggested that the Blues are willing to include Fofana, who joined only this season, on a loan deal for the Portuguese side.
Opportunities have been extremely difficult for the youngster to come by this season, despite the obvious goalscoring issues that cropped up this season.

Supporters will have believed he should have been given more of a chance, especially in games where the results didn’t overly matter due to the club’s position in the table.
However, he made just one start in the half-season he spent at Stamford Bridge, and even then he was substituted at half-time by Graham Potter.
A spell away hopefully playing regular football could be the perfect outcome for Chelsea, who will be hoping to complete their midfield as a result of the transfer.
