Fabrizio Romano has reported that incoming Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is desperately keen on keeping Mason Mount at the club.
The Italian journalist has told GiveMeSport that Mauricio Pochettino wants to keep Mason Mount in his Chelsea squad for next season and beyond.
According to The Independent, Chelsea have agreed a deal with former Tottenham Hotspur head coach Pochettino to take charge of the first team at the end of the season.
Romano has said that there is no agreement in place over a new deal between Mount and Chelsea.
The Italian journalist has added that Pochettino really wants to keep the England international midfielder at Chelsea.

Romano said about Mount: “I’m sure Pochettino will fight to keep Mason Mount. For sure, he appreciates Mason Mount.
“He will be the first one to fight to keep Mason Mount at the club. But the reality is that, at the moment, there is still no agreement on the contract.”
