‘Expected to attack’: Fabrizio Romano says Chelsea are about to make big move to sign £80m midfielder
Fabrizio Romano has now claimed that Chelsea are about to make a big attempt to sign Moises Caicedo very soon.
He told CBS Sports that the Blues are joined with interest by Arsenal, however they are still pushing hardest to sign Declan Rice.
Chelsea have been strongly linked with Caicedo since the season ended, with a midfield overload likely to be on the menu at Stamford Bridge.

It is expected that N’golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic will both be gone when the window opens, with the Frenchman set to earn good money as part of his likely move to Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile the Croatia international is reportedly keen to make the move to recently crowned champions of Europe Manchester City.
Despite having the extremely impressive Enzo Fernandez as part of their side, he is going to need support if Chelsea are going to begin to climb back up the table after the dire campaign last season.
Chelsea to move again for Caicedo
Mauricio Pochettino reportedly wants a midfielder or two to come in this summer, and has already seen his efforts to sign Manuel Ugarte blown out the water by PSG.
Romano has now claimed they’re going to be making a fresh effort for Caicedo very soon.
He said: “Chelsea and Arsenal share the same target in Brighton’s Moises Caicedo but the Blues are expected to attack the situation soon with new, fresh contacts.

“Arsenal’s priority remains Declan Rice as talks with West Ham will enter into crucial stages very soon and they are ahead of FC Bayern Munich in the race.”
It is essential that Chelsea land a top midfield target this summer, with them likely to need to actually be in the market for a couple of options if they are to rebuild next season.
A move will not be cheap however, with it being claimed that Brighton are holding out for around £80m to let him go.
