'Really good': Roberto Mancini says he's really impressed by £12m Chelsea youngster
Roberto Mancini has showered Chelsea youngster Cesare Casadei with some big praise.
Cesare Casadei, who’s only 20, is a very highly-rated midfielder on Chelsea’s books.
The Blues signed him from Inter Milan last summer in a £12million deal.
His first season in England was split into two parts. He impressed with Chelsea’s Under-21s side in the first half of the year before enjoying an educational loan at Championship club Reading in the second half of the season.
Now, he’s currently shining for Italy’s youth side at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup tournament.

Italy’s senior manager Roberto Mancini has mentioned Chelsea’s rising star this week in a very positive way.
“Cesare Casadei is really good. He had already impressed me during a stage at Coverciano,” Mancini said, as quoted by Football Italia.
“He went to England and played in the Championship a tough and formative league, almost like the Premier League. If it wasn’t for the U20 World Cup, he would be playing in the U21 already.”

Italy’s Under-20s side take on South Korea tonight in a World Cup semi-final, with Chelsea’s youngster certainly a potential match-winner.
Casadei has been the star man at the tournament so far, scoring six goals in five games en route to the semis. Incidentally, this included a winner against England in the Round of 16.
Sport claimed last month that Chelsea’s board is delighted with Casadei, who’s set to play a role in the first-team squad at Stamford Bridge next season.
We’re certainly excited to see if the Italian central midfielder can impress Blues head coach Mauricio Pochettino during pre-season.
