Report: 23-year-old Chelsea man has now spoken to Champions League club about joining them this summer
Reports from Italy have claimed that representatives of Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah have now spoken to Inter Milan.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the two parties have been in contact over a potential transfer this summer.
The future of the majority of the defenders at Stamford Bridge is currently uncertain, however none probably more so than that of Chalobah’s.

He enjoyed another relatively successful personal campaign, even if the Blues did finish down in 12th in the league.
The end of the season saw the club learn that they could also use the Englishman on the right of defence, with him being utilised rarely in place of Reece James when he was injured.

However, his place in the side continues to look uncertain, after plenty of acquisitions in the past 12 months.
Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile have both been brought in during the last two transfer windows, and this makes it very difficult to see a way for Chalobah to play.
This conundrum is now added to by the return of Levi Colwill from his very impressive loan spell at Brighton.

The Seagulls are reportedly preparing another bid to try and bring the youngster in this summer. However, all the reports so far have claimed that the Blues are not interested in any offers for him.
Chelsea will just be hopeful that their interest in signing Moises Caicedo is not impacted by their unwillingness to negotiate regarding the England U21 international.
As for Chalobah, it has to be seen whether Inter actually have the funds to make a suitable offer to bring him in this summer, with their efforts to sign Romelu Lukaku so far being stumped by an unwillingness to roll over in negotiations.
