Report: Alvaro Morata has previously urged Juventus to sign 'fantastic' Chelsea player
Alvaro Morata previously urged Juventus to go and sign Robert Sanchez, who completed his move from Brighton to Chelsea this month.
That is according to a report from The Daily Mail.
Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, 30, spent a couple of years at Juventus on loan between 2020-2022.
The report claims that Morata once told Italian giants Juventus to sign then-Brighton goalkeeper Robert Sanchez after working alongside him at international level with Spain.
However, the 25-year-old keeper continued his development at Brighton in recent years and completed a £25million transfer (Sky Sports) to Chelsea during this summer transfer window.

If there are any Chelsea doubters about Sanchez’s arrival at Stamford Bridge, perhaps the vote of confidence from former Blues star Morata may help.
Sanchez, who’s only 25, is a young goalkeeper with incredible potential.
The Spanish shot-stopper has proven himself at Premier League level in Brighton colours in recent years, so it felt like a matter of time before he earned himself a high-profile transfer.

ESPN pundit Shaka Hislop recently said he thinks Chelsea have done some “outstanding” business to sign Sanchez for only £25million (ESPN).
Described as “fantastic” by Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi (The Argus), Sanchez has come to west London to try compete with fellow countryman Kepa Arrizabalaga for the starting goalkeeper position.
In our view, Chelsea’s keeper spot is certainly up for grabs right now. We’re intrigued to see who Blues head coach Mauricio Pochettino prefers as his long-term number one in-between the sticks.
