Mauricio Pochettino hands £60m man first PL start of the season: Chelsea predicted XI vs Fulham
Mauricio Pochettino will have been the most relieved man in West London when the Blues finally returned to winning ways earlier this week.
Their 1-0 victory in the EFL Cup against Brighton will hopefully be the catalyst to some better form in the league, where they have underwhelmed so far.

Up next is the West London derby against Fulham on Monday night, with them needing to bounce back from a loss to Aston Villa.
Here’s our predicted XI for that game…
GK and Defence

Robert Sanchez has been an ever-present this season, and despite some nervy moments against his former side, will continue in goal.
The right-back role was played so well by Marc Cucurella on Wednesday, and due to a lack of options right now he will continue there for his first league start of the season.
Axel Disasi will also continue his run of starting every game so far this season after his summer switch from France.
He will be joined again by Thiago Silva, who was rested for the EFL Cup tie.
With Ben Chilwell’s late injury, Levi Colwill will move back to left-back despite looking far more natural in the middle.
Midfield

Moises Caicedo looked in some pain at the end of the game in the week, however will continue in the middle of the park.
He will be joined by Enzo Fernandez, who got a rare rest for the majority of the Brighton match.
In front of those two, Cole Palmer will also start his first league game after an impressive display at Stamford Bridge this week.
Attack

Mykhailo Mudryk has quietly been churning out some very promising displays, and will start his fourth consecutive game on Monday.
Raheem Sterling will feature on the other wing, looking to find his goalscoring boots again.
With no Nicolas Jackson, it will be a huge chance for Armando Broja to show what he can do on his return from injury.
