'The most dangerous': Brentford boss Thomas Frank hails £50m Chelsea player ahead of today's clash
Raheem Sterling is Chelsea’s “most dangerous player” this season.
That is according to Brentford boss Thomas Frank.
Chelsea and Brentford lock horns today in the lunchtime kick-off at Stamford Bridge, with three Premier League points up for grabs.

First of all, Brentford’s manager has already paid tribute to his opposite number pre-match.
Frank said via Brentford’s X account that Chelsea head coach Pochettino has done “fantastically his whole coaching career”.
Now, he’s identified the main threat in the Blues line-up.
He believes that Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling, 28, is a serious threat to his Brentford side this Saturday.
“Up front, Raheem Sterling is probably in his best age and is getting back to his high level. He has been the most dangerous player for Chelsea this season,” Frank said via West London Sport.

Sterling definitely looks like he’s redissolving his best form this season, which is so vital for a Chelsea attack that doesn’t have a lot of goals in it.
The £50million attacker (Daily Mail) is now a senior figure in the very young Blues squad. He’s one of the few individuals with a track record of scoring lots of goals at the top level, too.
There’s certainly a theme that the English winger is playing with a lot more freedom since Mauricio Pochettino took charge over the summer. This means we’re seeing him take on defenders 1v1 more often and exploiting the space.
Chelsea caused Arsenal some real issues last weekend with Sterling and Mykhailo Mudryk on the wings, so we expect that duo to be in full force again versus Brentford.
For Sterling, he’ll go in search of a fourth league goal this campaign.
If he wants to force his way back into Gareth Southgate’s England squad in time for November’s set of international fixtures, we suspect he’ll need to score a few goals in the upcoming Chelsea games to make himself a certainty.
