'Starting to feel sea sick': Sky presenter shares what Chelsea fans were doing to their studio at full-time
Chelsea recorded a dramatic win over Newcastle United tonight, which left the Sky Sports studio shaking at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are into the Carabao Cup semi-finals after beating Newcastle on penalties this evening.
Callum Wilson’s first-half goal looked like securing Newcastle the away win. However, Mykhailo Mudryk’s stoppage time equaliser made it 1-1 and sent the cup contest to penalties.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side were faultless with four converted penalties to progress to the last four.
They’re joined by Fulham, Middlesbrough and either West Ham or Liverpool in the semis of the League Cup.

Stamford Bridge bouncing
Mark Chapman, who was working as the present during Sky Sports’ coverage of Chelsea vs Newcastle, shared straight after full-time that the studio was bouncing because of the celebrating from home fans near them.
Chapman said via Sky Sports’ Football channel (10:10pm, 19 December): “This ground is rocking and this studio is rocking to such an extent that I am starting to feel sea sick, that is what it feels like at the moment.”
He added: “The atmosphere here reminds me of being at St. James’ Park last year when they were on their League Cup run.”
Chelsea win against Newcastle
This domestic cup run feels vital during a time when the form in the Premier League is below par.
Hopefully, Pochettino’s side can use this as the ammunition to kick on and enjoy a much better second half of the campaign.
One concern will be losing Blues midfielder Enzo Fernandez, 22, during the first half of the Newcastle match.
Sky Sports reported that Fernandez’s withdrawal was because of illness, though.
Next, Chelsea travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Christmas Eve for a league fixture.
