Chelsea could now get Premier League manager sacked when they play his team next month - journalist
Mauricio Pochettino’s job at Chelsea looks safe right now after some good results.
Chelsea are into the Carabao Cup final after beating Middlesbrough 6-1 last night and are only four points behind sixth place in the Premier League following their 1-0 win against Fulham earlier this month.
However, one manager in the English top flight who will be worrying about his position in the dugout is Roy Hodgson. According to journalist Ed Aarons, while the Crystal Palace boss is set to remain in charge of the Eagles for now, upcoming games against Sheffield United, Brighton & Hove Albion and Chelsea could decide his fate.
Chelsea have already beaten Palace this season, winning a Premier League tie against them 2-1 last month.
Hodgson’s men are 15th in the table, just five points above the relegation zone.

Chelsea could get Roy Hodgson sacked
It looks like Palace’s game against Chelsea is something that Hodgson is going to be judged on.
A bad day and poor results leading into that match, and the 76-year-old could find himself leaving Selhurst Park for a second time as manager.
As for Pochettino, his club would have been hoping for the Argentine to guide the team back into the Champions League.
That is unlikely to happen this season, but it does not mean Todd Boehly should get rid of him.
The Blues can still qualify for the Europa League, while there is now a great chance of them winning silverware.
If Chelsea can beat Liverpool or Fulham in the Carabao Cup final, that is another trophy to add to the club’s collection. Do that and qualify for Europe, and this campaign can probably go down as a successful one.
However, there is a bit of a way to go before Pochettino’s side achieve either of those things.
