Fabrizio Romano says Chelsea youngster who Pochettino really rates is having his medical to leave today
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that one Chelsea youngster is about to undergo a medical ahead of leaving the club on loan today.
He took to Twitter to state that highly-rated Alex Matos is now ready for a move that will hopefully see him play far more professional football.
Matos perhaps would have been expecting to make his first start for the club at the weekend when the Blues are in FA Cup action against lower-league opponents.

The game will offer the manager a rare opportunity to rotate his squad slightly, as he continues to prepare for some more important fixtures on other competitions.
However, those plans will now no longer involve Matos, with Romano claiming his loan move to Huddersfield Town could be announced after he passes his medical today.
He said: “Chelsea talent Alex Matos set to undergo medical tests at Huddersfield Town today; deal will be sealed right after on loan as expected.”

The former Norwich City star is a player who has caught the eye of Mauricio Pochettino this season. He has even handed him his Premier League debut for the club.
The manager came out and described him as a player who had really impressed him during his time in first team training, which is probably why he has since been a regular part of the matchday squad.
Those who have a particular knowledge in the youth stars at Stamford Bridge are also tipping Matos to be a star of the future, however it is clear to see that opportunities would be difficult to come by in midfield right now.
That’s assuming Conor Gallagher, who has been a near ever-present this season, remains at the club at the wishes of both the manager and the player.
Huddersfield currently sit just a place above the relegation zone in the Championship, so the youngster is certainly going to have his work cut out in order to help them survive this season.
