'I love him': John Obi Mikel says he really loves 24-year-old Chelsea player but there's a problem
John Obi Mikel has now stated that he is a huge fan of one Chelsea player as part of the current squad.
He told the Obi One podcast that he is an admirer of Reece James, however he has noticed one problem about the 24-year-old.
James has hardly been a factor in Chelsea’s season so far, and that will come as more frustrating to him than anyone else.

Just months after being named club captain, he will have really been hoping to make an instant impact on the side.
This hasn’t been the case though, and forced Mauricio Pochettino to rethink and name a number of other first team players as club captain.
While Mikel was full of praise for the defender, he made it clear that the Blues cannot rely on an injury prone player to lead them into the future.
Mikel praises James
He said: “Reece James. I love him as a player and I think he should be the captain of the football club. But you can’t be the captain if you are constantly getting injured.
“I love him as a player and a person but we need… we played with the greatest captain a football club could ever have [John Terry] and he would play with broken toes.
“He trained with it. This is what we had and something that would galvanise the team. Now we don’t have that.”
James has recently undergone surgery to try and solve some of his hamstring issues, which are believed to have also had an effect on the rest of his body too.
It remains to be seen whether this will be a permanent solution, and also whether he will be able to keep Malo Gusto out the team on a regular basis after he has impressed greatly since coming into the side.
