Report: What Axel Disasi and Thiago Silva did at full-time straight after win vs Fulham
Chelsea defender Axel Disasi was one player who was definitely happy with his side’s win against Fulham over the weekend.
Chelsea were just about able to beat their west London rivals, with Cole Palmer scoring a first-half penalty to guide the home team to a 1-0 victory.
After the game, Axel Disasi punched his fists in the air in delight before embracing Thiago Silva in a hug, a scene caught by football.london.
Disasi’s joy is hardly a surprise, as it was a big win for Chelsea. It, of course, comes just after a poor defeat to Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup and also helped Mauricio Pochettino‘s side to climb the Premier League table.
The 25-year-old was recently compared to former Arsenal defender Kolo Toure by Anton Ferdinand.

Axel Disasi and Thiago Silva delighted with Fulham win
As defenders, Disasi and Silva will be relieved that they were able to see out the game against Fulham.
It was a tight affair and Marco Silva’s team really pushed Chelsea towards the end of the match.
Disasi, Silva and the rest of the Blues’ backline, though, managed to shut them out and get the job done.
Pochettino is really going to need Chelsea’s defence to be at their best right now because of issues in attack.
The Argentine is currently without his first-choice striker Nicolas Jackson, who is at the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal, while Christopher Nkunku has picked up another injury.
It took another Palmer penalty to beat Fulham, so it is clear to see attack is not Chelsea’s biggest strength right now.
It is why it is so important for the likes of Disasi and Silva to remain solid. That backline could be the difference for the Blues in the coming weeks. Their next test is Aston Villa in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
