'A disgrace': Jamie O'Hara left fuming by what he's now hearing about Chelsea
TalkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara has just heard a Chelsea transfer rumour that’s left him extremely frustrated.
Like so many of the transfer windows under this Chelsea ownership, it’s been very busy around Stamford Bridge in the last month. There’s still plenty of individuals linked with incomings and outgoings, too.
In terms of potential exits, Conor Gallagher’s saga is creating a lot of noise. Respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed via X that Atletico Madrid want to know imminently if Gallagher’s joining them.
The 24-year-old Blues midfielder has one year left on his contract with his boyhood club, but he’s still deciding what to do with his future. This comes after GiveMeSport reported that Atletico’s £34m bid for Gallagher has been accepted.

Jamie O’Hara angered by Conor Gallagher rumours
Jamie O’Hara is super frustrated by the suggestions that Chelsea could let Gallagher go in this window.
Reacting to the news that Atletico’s transfer offer was accepted, O’Hara told talkSPORT: “I think it’s a disgrace. They’re letting him go.
“He’s a captain of the football club, works his tail off, loves the team. Everyone likes him and he gives everything on the football pitch. You’ll never see him go missing on the football pitch.
“What he lacks in quality, he makes up for in heart and desire. I think they’re making a mistake getting rid of players like that.”
How important was Conor Gallagher at Chelsea last season?
For starters, Gallagher made 50 appearances across all competitions last season, the most of any player in the Blues squad. On top of that, the versatile midfielder scored seven goals and made nine assists.
He was so often a go-to figure under former Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino, someone who’s levels rarely dipped too low. While many teammates around him were up and down in the 2023/24 campaign, he was extremely dependable and a great stand-in captain.
Speaking via Sky Sports News back in May, Paul Merson said it’s five steps back if Chelsea sell Gallagher. It’s easy to see why plenty of fans and sections of the media disagree with this ongoing transfer saga.
