‘Keep an eye’: Chelsea could try to sign ‘special’ striker instead of Victor Osimhen - Fabrizio Romano
It looks as if the story of the final few days of the transfer window are going to revolve around one position in particular for Chelsea.
It has been widely reported that a new striker is at the top of the list if there are going to be any more players making the move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The name constantly linked with a potential blockbuster move is Victor Osimhen, with interest in signing him really heating up in the past few weeks.
There is likely an appetite for both teams to do the deal as Romelu Lukaku is expected to join Napoli from the Blues this summer.
It does seem as if Chelsea are keen to get a deal done on their terms though, which could ultimately see things not progress.

Chelsea could move from Victor Osimhen to Jhon Duran
Another player in this position who they have been linked with signing is Jhon Duran, and perhaps they are considering moving back to him.
Fabrizio Romano has told Chelsea fans to keep an eye on that situation for the final days of the transfer window.
He said on his Playback: “Chelsea’s interest in Osimhen has always been on a loan, but Osimhen wants a permanent deal. I would also keep an eye on Jhon Duran.”
Duran started the season in electric form, scoring the winner in their opening game against West Ham.
He has been described as ‘special’ by Aston Villa boss Unai Emery in the past, with him cropping up with some big goals already.
Duran cheaper than Osimhen
Duran would likely provide a cheaper option for a new signing than Osimhen, however not bringing the pedigree of already being one of the top strikers in world football in with him.
Any attacker joining the club from now may find it a bit tougher to break into the first team straight away following the clinical display against Wolves on Sunday.
The Blues won 6-2, with five different attackers registering either a goal or an assist.
