Former Chelsea player uses one word to describe Estevao Willian after his senior Brazil debut
Estevao Willian, who is set to join Chelsea in 2025, will not be forgetting this international break any time soon.
Despite being just 17 years of age, Estevao Willian was able to make his senior debut for Brazil in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The Selecao won their match against Ecuador 1-0, with the Palmeiras winger coming on in the second half.
Real Madrid star Rodrygo is now looking to guide Estevao, whose career is still in its infancy.

Angelo Gabriel lauds Estevao Willian after Brazil bow
Angelo Gabriel and Estevao could have been Chelsea teammates, with Estevao moving to west London next summer.
However, Angelo departed Chelsea earlier this week, joining Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr. Being Estevao’s compatriot, though, the winger still has time for him.
After making his debut for Brazil, Estevao put up a post on Instagram to celebrate his achievement. Angelo then replied, describing the new Brazil international as a “phenomenon”.
Estevao got really emotional before stepping onto the pitch, but that is understandable given the magnitude of the occasion.
Estevao Willian a phenomenon
Estevao is still only a teenager, but Angelo is probably not wrong with his assessment of his countryman. Estevao really does look like a phenomenon.
In fact, those in the game have labelled Estevao a “generational talent”. At Palmeiras right now, the winger is doing extremely well.
In the Brazilian league this season, he has already scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 21 games.
Estevao is showing a lot of productivity for someone his age, not just technical skill and flair.
The above, of course, may not translate over to the Premier League straight away. Perhaps Estevao may even need a loan or two away from Stamford Bridge.
But with the trajectory that Estevao is on, it looks like Chelsea are going to end up having a real star on their hands at some point, maybe even as soon as next season.
