'Phenomenal': Noni Madueke shares what he admires about 'very unique' Chelsea star Cole Palmer

Noni Madueke has been speaking about the brilliance of Chelsea and England teammate Cole Palmer.

Chelsea attackers Noni Madueke and Cole Palmer, both 22, are currently in the England camp during October’s international break.

Blues winger Madueke, who’s scored five goals in eight games across all competitions this season, is impressing at club level. The Sun claims that Madueke has passed a fitness test ahead of England’s match with Greece, which takes place on Thursday night.

Meanwhile, Palmer has six goals and five assists in seven Premier League appearances this campaign. He’s going from strength to strength during his second season at Stamford Bridge.

Noni Madueke hails “unique” Cole Palmer

Madueke is in awe of Chelsea teammate Palmer for his brilliance on the football pitch. In particular, he’s mentioned his “unique” trait that he just never feels any pressure.

“Cole Palmer’s a very unique player,” Madueke said, as quoted by The Independent. “A type of player that doesn’t feel pressure in the most pressurised situations. I admire that about him.

“He’s a great footballer and I’m sure he’s going to produce for England just as he does for Chelsea.”

“Listen, Cole is a phenomenal player. In terms of the best player in the world, I don’t know if I should be the one to decide that!

“I think the sky’s the limit for him. I don’t know if he has a ceiling. I feel like the form that he’s showing now is incredible and I just hope he can continue that.”

Cole Palmer numbers are ridiculous

Palmer is now putting up the kind of attacking contributions that puts him in the conversation alongside the world’s best players. On top of that, he passes the eye test with flying colours for all the skilful things he does with the ball at his feet.

In 54 Chelsea appearances since he joined from Manchester City last summer, Palmer has scored 31 goals and created 20 assists.

It’s great to see that the likes of Madueke, Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku are chipping in with plenty of goals so far this season as well.
