Wesley Fofana and Moises Caicedo post wordless reaction to big Chelsea news
Chelsea supporters are patiently waiting for the return of club football during yet another international break, but the club did provide some big news this week regarding Reece James.
Blues captain Reece James, 24, is yet to make a single appearance this season as he recovers from his latest hamstring injury.
GiveMeSport claimed last month that Chelsea will be patient about bringing James back after conversations. There’s now been a significant update about the English right-back’s fitness, though.
Chelsea confirmed via their official website that James actually returned to ‘full training’ with his teammates on Monday at Cobham.

Chelsea further shared via Instagram that James is back on the training pitches with his teammates this week.
Blues stars Wesley Fofana and Moises Caicedo both posted wordless reactions in the comment section to show their excitement about the major news.

Malo Gusto has covered superbly well
Chelsea full-back Malo Gusto has played 44 games across all competitions since the start of last season, which highlights just how much football James has missed in the last year. He’s recorded an impressive tally of 10 assists during that time, too.
Fortunately, Gusto has proven he’s a quality right-back in his own right. The biggest compliment you could say is that there’s not really a drop off in levels whenever the 21-year-old youngster plays in the starting XI.
Journalist Simon Phillips recently claimed via Substack that Chelsea are concerned about the work load of Gusto.
We’d suggest that Blues academy talent Josh Acheampong, 18, could get some minutes in upcoming games if the club are being sensible with the James return. In particular, the club’s Conference League group stage phase is the perfect opportunity to rotate and shuffle the pack.
So far, Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has been excellent when it comes to using the depth of his squad and keeping everyone involved.
