Enzo Maresca says Chelsea don’t want to sell Tosin Adarabioyo

Despite only joining in the summer, there have been reports that Chelsea have been contacted by Brighton over Tosin Adarabioyo.

The former Fulham man has found Premier League starts hard to come by this season, and recently has been replaced in the side by academy graduate Josh Acheampong.

This has added fuel to the fire that he could be on the move, however the manager has stated that he the club are not looking to do any more business when it comes to centre-backs.

He said to Kieran Gill that the plan is for neither of him for Disasi to leave the club during the January transfer window.

Maresca stated: “At the moment, they are both with us. The intention is not to allow them to go. But we are in January and anything can happen.”

This has clearly rubbed off on the rest of the squad. It has been reported the players are a big fan of Tosin.

Chelsea were one of nine sides who were pushing to sign Tosin over the summer, with him available on a free transfer.

Tonight’s fixture against Wolves could present a chance for him to start at Stamford Bridge, with Maresca reporting an issue with Levi Colwill.
