Chelsea have opportunity to sign striker who Enzo Maresca really rates for far less than he’s worth
Chelsea are crying out for a goalscorer right now, and have less than a week of the January transfer window remaining to get a new one in for the rest of the season.
Gilt-edge chances are going begging every week for the Blues at the moment, and it is costing them points in the race for Champions League football next season.
Nicolas Jackson’s shooting boots appear to have gone missing of late, and the feeling is that Enzo Maresca does not have the belief in Christopher Nkunku to lead the line in the Premier League.

Chelsea interested in cut-price deal for Samu Omorodion Aghehowa
The Blues have been linked to a number of different candidates to fill the very clear void in their squad, and they have now been reported to have the opportunity to sign one player who they were heavily interested in last summer.
Samu Omorodion Aghehowa was firmly on Chelsea’s radar before the season begun, and according to TBR Football remains on their watchlist in this transfer window.
The report goes on to say that Porto’s worrying financial situation means they could be forced to sell him for way less than his release clause, rumoured to be around £84m.
Chelsea fans were firmly against the rumours of signing Omorodion when he was originally linked, although it was reported that Maresca had given the green light to the addition.

How is Samu doing this season?
After not getting his move from Atletico Madrid to Stamford Bridge, Samu instead made the move to Porto, where he has enjoyed a brilliant campaign so far.
The Spain international has 18 goals across the Portuguese League and Europa League this season, including two in the 3-3 draw with Manchester United.

The Blues have been linked to a number of different strikers this month, with Ipswich Town star Liam Delap reportedly near the top of that list.
