‘In demand’: Bayern Munich enter race to sign one of Chelsea’s brightest stars - journalist
Chelsea’s array of first team talent actually stretches way beyond the players who are currently at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have a plethora of brilliant individuals currently on loan away from the club, who are all looking to prove they have what it takes to make it in West London.
Trevoh Chalobah has done just that in his spell at Crystal Palace, with him now being recalled to be part of the Chelsea squad for the rest of the season.

Bayern Munich interested in signing Andrey Santos
Supporters have called for the Blues to bring a midfielder back due to the mounting injury concerns in the middle of the park.
Arguably Chelsea’s best performing loanee this season has been Andrey Santos, starring during his second spell with Strasbourg.
The Brazilian has been one of the highest performing midfielders in Ligue 1 this season, and seems to be adding goals to his game too.
| Andrey Santos Ligue 1 stats 24/25 | Total |
| Starts | 17 |
| Goals | 6 |
| Tackles won % | 67.2 |
| Duels won % | 66.5 |
| Chances created | 15 |
| Assists | 1 |
Enzo Maresca would see his side boosted if Santos was recalled this month, however that deal does not look likely as we approach the final week of the window.
This could be a worrying sign for his future, especially taking into account the quality of sides that want to sign him
Journalist Eduardo Burgos has claimed that Bayern Munich are now keeping a very close eye on Santos, as well as a host of top clubs.
“Several clubs have contacted Chelsea for Andrey Santos. Bayern Munich are keeping a close eye on him ahead of the summer. He is very much in demand. Milan are also keeping an eye on him, along with other Premier League clubs.
“It is almost out of the question that he will return to London in January. He will remain in France.”
Chelsea’s Andrey Santos plan

Despite wide interest from a number of top European sides, Chelsea have no plans to let Santos leave before he has even made his competitive debut for the club.
There are reports which state he will be part of the first team picture next season, with Lesley Ugochukwu another loanee currently being considered to be recalled.
Santos is developing at a rapid rate over in France, and recalling him midway through the season mostly to sit on the bench would be extremely detrimental.
Maresca reportedly wants a midfielder this month though, and him not getting one with the news of another longer term injury for Romeo Lavia could see them risk dropping out of the top four, and therefore the manager his job come the summer.
