Report: How Enzo Maresca currently feels about Chelsea squad with two players told they can leave this month
You could understand if Enzo Maresca was a bit disappointed with his Chelsea squad at the minute.
Chelsea lost at home to Fulham before being beaten again by relegation-threatened Ipswich Town.
Wins in those two games, as well as against Everton, would have had Chelsea sitting just two points behind Liverpool in the Premier League table. There would have been no denying their involvement in the title race had they found themselves in that position.
Instead, Maresca‘s men find themselves in fourth place with 35 points. Maresca has baffled John Obi Mikel at times this season after opting to start Axel Disasi at right-back instead of Malo Gusto.

Enzo Maresca happy with Chelsea squad but Ben Chilwell and Carney Chukwuemeka told they can leave
Despite Chelsea’s little blip, Maresca still seems to be more than content with the squad that he currently has.
According to football.london, the Chelsea manager and the club’s hierarchy are happy with the players that they have at their disposal.
Two of those players, though, Ben Chilwell and Carney Chukwuemeka, have both been told that they can leave Stamford Bridge this month, the same outlet reports.
Neither Chilwell nor Chukwuemeka appear to be in Maresca’s plans, with both men failing to play a single minute of Premier League football this season.
Who is interested in Ben Chilwell and Carney Chukwuemeka?
At the end of November, it was claimed that Chilwell could become a target for Juventus in the winter transfer window.
The Italian giants, then, could be one option for the defender this month. You suspect that his wages could be a problem, though.
As for Chukwuemeka, he also seems to be attracting interest from Italy. It has even been reported that Chukwuemeka has already said yes to AC Milan about a winter move.
All things considered, Chilwell and Chukwuemeka just need to get out of Chelsea. Maresca clearly has no use for them, showing that during the first half of the season.
