Report: Todd Boehly completes deal to sign top youngster for Chelsea’s partner club Strasbourg
While signings are not flying through the door at Stamford Bridge, it looks as if the Chelsea ownership team are still working hard in the final days of the January transfer window.
The Blues will no doubt be keeping their eye on opportunities to add to their sole addition to the first team squad this month. Trevoh Chalobah was recalled from his loan earlier this month.
It is believed the most likely signing for Chelsea at this stage is an attacker, although that will depend on whether anything happens regarding Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku.

Todd Boehly signs Samuel Amo-Ameyaw for Chelsea’s partners Strasbourg
Something that has been consistent during transfer windows ever since Todd Boehly and co took over the running of the club is the influx of youngsters signed by the club, with the ambition of beating a number of other top sides to the deal.
Now that BlueCo are also the owners of Strasbourg, it seems they have been taking the opportunity to develop players there with an eye to a move at Stamford Bridge at some point in the future.
It looks as if they have secured another player for the future in the form of teenage prospect Samuel Amo-Ameyaw. According to The Athletic, the Southampton winger is set to move to Strasbourg on a loan, with an obligation to buy at the end of the season.
Strasbourg have benefitted greatly from loanees from Chelsea this season. Andrey Santos and Djordje Petrovic have been amongst their best performers this season.

Who is Sameul Amo-Ameyaw?
Amo-Ameyaw has already made an impression on the Southampton first team this season, making four appearances and finding the net in the EFL Cup.
He has also been a regular for the England youth sides, with him currently part of a stacked Under 19s side that also features the likes of Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri.
The 18-year-old has experience playing on either wing, and it will not be long before he is pushing for appearances under Liam Rosenior in Ligue 1.
