Chelsea fans will be fearing the worst as Premier League make decision ahead of Fulham - opinion
Chelsea supporters have another reason to be pessimistic heading into their game against Fulham on Sunday.
With Chelsea‘s form not being great lately, fans would have already been nervous ahead of the trip to Craven Cottage.
The Blues lost 2-1 to Legia Warsaw in the Conference League on Thursday, which followed their 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town last Sunday.

Some of Enzo Maresca’s decisions have been truly baffling in recent games, but that will not be Chelsea fans’ only concern going into their west London derby.

Anthony Taylor set to referee Fulham vs Chelsea
After making several controversial calls in the past, Chelsea supporters will be worried about how Anthony Taylor referees Sunday’s game.
In fact, Chelsea fans have already been talking about Taylor on social media, accepting defeat before a ball has even been kicked because of his appointment as referee for the match.
It was Taylor who sent off Victor Moses in the 2017 FA Cup final and Mateo Kovacic in the 2020 FA Cup final, incidents that the Stamford Bridge faithful will not forget.
Taylor’s assistants for Fulham vs Chelsea will be Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn, while Andy Madley and Darren Cann are on VAR duty.
In the past, Chelsea managers and players have also been left frustrated with Taylor. Mourinho and Cesc Fabregas both fumed at Taylor back in 2014 when the latter was wrongly booked for simulation.

Anthony Taylor’s previous Chelsea game
Chelsea beat another one of their London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, 4-3 in December, which was the last game Taylor refereed involving the Blues.
They have also defeated Bournemouth this season under Taylor’s watch, so there is still hope going into Sunday!
Whatever happens, Chelsea will only have themselves to blame if they fail to qualify for the Champions League. Maresca’s men have dropped too many silly points, letting Ipswich hold them to a draw at Stamford Bridge, for example.
