Chelsea legend tells Todd Boehly what he needs to do finally solve ongoing dilemma
Chelsea bounced back from their defeat to Manchester United with a win against Lincoln City on Tuesday, but they still have issues on and off the pitch.
Liam Delap and Levi Colwill are both injured, giving Enzo Maresca problems up front and in central defence.
The futures of Raheem Sterling and Axel Disasi have not been resolved either after both players failed to secure moves away from Stamford Bridge in the last transfer window.
Simon Jordan does not feel sorry for Sterling, though, believing that the forward could have done more to leave the club in the summer.

Pat Nevin reckons Chelsea may need to tear up Raheem Sterling’s contract
Sterling’s situation is one that former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin recently spoke about.
It is going to cost a fortune, but at this rate, Nevin thinks Todd Boehly and the other higher-ups at Chelsea may have no other choice but to terminate the 30-year-old’s contract to get rid of him.
In his newsletter, which has been posted by BBC Sport, the Chelsea legend said: “Transferring millions of pounds into his account and telling him to go away is understandably not what Chelsea want to do, but they might have to.”
While Sterling did not get a move in the summer, the England international did attract interest from several clubs.
It was even claimed that Bayern Munich asked about Sterling during their talks with Chelsea for Nicolas Jackson.
Boehly and Co have taken a lot of flak for their handling of the Sterling situation, but the player himself deserves criticism, as he had opportunities to leave the Club World Cup winners.

Chelsea could have signed Ballon d’Or winner instead of Raheem Sterling
Paris Saint-Germain superstar Ousmane Dembele recently won the Ballon d’Or, and there was once a time when Chelsea were interested in the best player in the world.
However, during the 2022 summer transfer window, it was thought that Chelsea had doubts about Dembele and signed Sterling instead.
It is probably one of the biggest transfer mistakes the Conference League holders have made in their history. Since then, Dembele and Sterling have gone in completely opposite directions.
